Jessica Tunison, P.T.A.

jtunisonEducation:

Bowling Green State University – Bachelors of Science in Education

From Northwest Ohio where I earned a Bachelors of Science in Education from Bowling Green State University.

I accepted a summer only position at a nursing home in the therapy department after I graduated. With a passion for helping others, I instantly grew fascinated with the field of physical therapy. With that, I earned an Associate of Applied Science degree from Professional Skills Institute and became a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.

During school I volunteered at a skilled nursing facility to help patients with Parkinson’s Disease as well as the Toledo Veteran Affairs Outpatient Clinic where I taught at risk patients about Type 2 Diabetes. This I truly enjoyed because it showed me that in this field I would be able to lace in my love for teaching as well.

As a PTA I believe in working closely with a team to furnish individualized treatments; and that this provides patients with the best possible outcome for recovery. I enjoy going to work every day having the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

As a new Colorado resident, My favorite activity to do in my spare time is explore this beautiful state.

Testimonials

  • One of the best chiropractors I have ever been to. I came in with back pain that traveled down the back of my leg and was having a really hard time walking, sitting, and standing. They spent extra time with me to make sure I understood why I was having pain. There front desk people are really helpful and Brandi and Jen there massage therapist are the best. Most importantly they took my insurance. My husband now goes to them and also agrees with me. I would highly recommend them if you are in pain.

    Laura B. Denver, CO

  • This place is great!!! Everybody is so friendly and the doctors are just amazing! To be honest I didn’t believe that chiropractors can help me, but I thought I’ll try anyway. That was the one of the best decision I’ve made lately. They fixed my back in no time!!! THANK YOU!!! I will definitely recommend Mountain View Pain Center to all my friends.
